New! Hovde Syd

A family-friendly expansion of the skiing at Vemdalsskalet is taking shape. Stage one of Hovde Syd will open for Christmas 2025 and will offer a red and several blue slopes, as well as a family-friendly park!

Vemdalsskalet is a picturesque mountain village with sports shops and restaurants, all centred around the square Skalets Torg. Skiing here takes in two mountains, while rapid express lifts whisk you conveniently to the top.

Björnrike

Björnrike is a family-friendly ski area with a large children's area, a SkiStar Snow Park and lots of lodgings right by the slopes. There are a number of restaurants and the ski area is south-facing, which means long sunny days.

Klövsjö/Storhogna

Relaxing spa experiences in a stunning mountain environment, with Vemdalen’s toughest slopes, as well as gentle family ones. Storhogna and Klövsjö both offer spa experiences with mountain views, while Storhogna also offers an activity centre featuring bowling, a relaxation area and a SkiStarshop.

We are launching a brand new SkiPass for the winter season 2025/2026! With the new ski pass you will be able to buy a pass for only the Klövsjö/Storhogna ski area or only Högfjället. The new ski passes will be available for skiing 1-8 days.
